The homeowner uses this barn as a workshop for his many hobbies. Throughout the project the Kirkwood Home team carefully balanced accommodating the intended use of the space with the homeowner’s desire for an authentic barn design. Hayloft doors and traditional sliding barn doors are complete with genuine barn hardware. A traditional gambrel roof tops the two story structure. Stained and sealed cedar siding finishes the barn. Gutters divert rainwater into a cistern, where it is used for irrigation. A second story deck extends off the back of the barn.
